I just came back from a trip to the Feredral Institute of Technology in Zurich where I was helping the Swiss and Windows Live Europe development teams tell the local graduate population about some of the exciting development, test and program management jobs we have in Switzerland and Ireland. While at the exhibiton I got the chance to catch up with one of the Senior Program Managers from the dev centre who told me a little bit about the acquisition of Media Streams 15 months ago which marked the creation of the Microsoft Swiss Development centre and our evolution towards creating better unified communication solutions for our customers. For those of you thinking of applying for a role in the development centre in Zurich I can't speak highly enough about this beautiful country. For those out their who are passionate about Alpine sports, chocolete[ :-) ], water sports and languages this is a great place to apply your trade. I took a short video of Zurich Lake and the beautiful city backdrop that is vey impressive when you see it with your own eyes!
